3/5/1 Bench Press : 3's Week : Cycle 4


Unracked 325lbs to start off the 3/5/1 singles but something didn't feel right so racked it before I got injured. After years of lifting you can tell when your body is trying to tell you something. I use to lift with a lot of "angry" emotion at the bar. If this was a few years ago, I still would've went with the 3 sets today just to be "hardcore" but I'm done getting injured just to feed the ego. I beat last cycles numbers still on the last 3's rep set.

240 x 3
270 x 9 (Last Cycle: 265x10)
Close Grip Speed Bench
135 6x10
165 4x10

Not many of the big over the top guys will admit to that. It all about the rage and destruction. A smart lifter is a healthy lifter.
